Personality
Ishino has endless determination and often will ignore others insisting that it is an impossibility. Every now and then, it gets her into trouble. She has tried to play and bond with her siblings, but they considered themselves too good for her, every attempt until she stopped trying. Instead, she watched people and imagined what that would be like.
As she grew, she encountered a hidden prejudice against her: people tried to sell her lower quality goods and they whispered and stared at her behind her back.
If a person is too cruel to her, she will go to lengths to ensure they never bother her again. One man has two fingers remaining for his attitude. She tells herself that he is stronger than everyone and something harsh will punish them. The code of conduct issued by her parents is very much priority. She has to play the part of a refined, engaging noble for her parents. Easier said than done. Her temper has a short fuse and thus she becomes quite blunt.
History
Existence began, as it always did, with a flash of pain and disappointment. Ishino's parents expected a child in their image and instead, they received a girl and a pale one -- possessed by a demon, they were positive. So great was their disappointment that their attitude towards her was sour from day one.
High expectations and harsh discipline were an integrated part of her life already when she was young. Her mother was with child a year and a half after Ishino was born -- a son, the apple of her parents' eyes. They entrusted all their smiles to her brother and more often than not, frowns or impassive faces. She made a decision to do whatever was necessary to gain her parents' approval.
The only gift she had her nimbleness -- her pale complexion and eyes meant she shunned the sun and had to rely on her other senses. She became a makeshift spy in her household, reporting to her father whenever one of the errants made a transgression. Her father realized the potential in her hobby and sent her off to be an apprentice at a highly underground assassin group. He told her to do the family proud and that strengthened the fire within her. The Breaths of Blade taught her much and were harsh master, yet she persisted.
She had somewhat a perverse delight in watching someone struggle to breathe. She took to poisons as ducks to water, revealing in the power they gave her. They were something she could control and no one was to take that away from her. Soon, it was time to make her mark upon the world. Ishino's father wanted more power for himself and decided to go to Demeria after the Emperor's uncle and Ishino was of suitable marriageable age, so they'd have a ruse that Isho was to be engaged to marry a Demerian noble. Ishino did not want to be married, but she needed to please her father. This was how she could do it.

Ishino walked with noiseless steps to the hall where her parents summoned her. She bowed to them whe she entered and waited for their instructions. As expected, her father did not bother with pleasantries.
"Our trip to Demeria approaches. So as not to arouse suspicion, only you and I will travel." She knew what was to happen next: They'd have to scout the court to find a suitable noble and somehow, seduce him. That'd be tricky, but her mother taught her ways to deal with men.
Elegance, body language, obedience. That was what men wanted. At first, her mom feared Ishino was too coarse and fiery to be able to woo a man, but Ishino attempted to prove her wrong by showing some of her charms on an Ixonian noble. That satisfied her mother and the plan started. The Haru family, in the parents' eyes, was in need of gaining power and influence. Ishino was to slip into court, avoid the eyes of Ejiri Koji, find a Demerian noble, as well as gain any secrets for leverage. The family would stick together and help each other to gain luxury. Ishino would go above and behind the call of duty, she was sure of it.
She bid her mother farewell and headed to her room to pack. A few of her finest dresses, blush for her cheeks and reddening for her lips. She liked her long, fine hair, though it took a while for her to come to terms with it. When she saw no one else had pure white hair like she did, she realized she was unique. How was she not supposed to be pleased?
After she was done with her packing, she went with her father to the boat and they settled on board. So many plans to implement; she looked forward to them all.
