Gregarious and fun-loving she has always strived to be the center of attention and its generally been the case that Bebhinn has been successful in her venture to do so. While its not the case that she will steal the limelight from someone else it is true that she will be right in the middle of things usually laughing and if not involving herself with the conversation no matter what the topic is.
She posses an intelligent and quick wit which makes it that much more easy for her to interact with people and her sense of humour is quick and enjoyably fast paced as well. She is someone who has to be on the move even when standing still, with her tongue doing the moving as she glibly directs the pace of the moment.
Bebhinn is an open minded sort of person always willing to accept another person and their views but at the same time she is not going to sit idly by if she sees or hears something which she strongly disagrees with, a passionate woman Bebhinn has a warm heart but that doesn’t mean she is all cuddles and smiles either.
History
Anyone who expected the daughter of Lord Trevelyan to be sweetly obedient should probably have realised that the trait did not run deeply in his family line, while his lady wife was apparently sweet and gentle as well as submissive its not something she passed onto her daughters. In fact the opposite appears to be true for the female members, not that anyone of them has ever easily fitted into a particular mold all that easily or readily.
In regard to Bebhinn she is herself a perfect example of that boundless spirit as well as the charm which is associated with the family as a whole.
She was always fascinated with the horses and in fact family tradition states that she learned to ride before she learned to walk. Whether this is in fact true is a matter of debate but its certainly something she has been determined to live up too as much as possible. Its why instead of learning courtly dances she was mastering how to ride bareback and when other girls started to notice boys she was learning how to work leather and make saddles. As Bebhinn got older she developed an interest in the breeding program that her family had adopted, noting the traits they were keen to promote and also taking into consideration the ones which needed to be selectively removed.
It was a game and riddle and she loved it all. In fact Bebhinn has been actively involved with the whole project for a number of years, more than enough to make sure she remains largely unaware of what the rest of the family is up too unless and until it turns out that her family actually intrudes on her own personal sphere of influence.
Bebhinn has earned some respect from the grooms and staff involved with the horses but other than the interaction with them she really doesn't choose to speak to others of her own class all that often. In fact other than her natural charisma Bebhinn never bothered to learn how to speak sweetly to others at all, its left her to rely more on her sweet nature and openness to see her through any major faux pas.

Whatever anyone told her Bebhinn never understand why lords in other holdings troubled themselves with mounts with such intractable and stubborn personalities. A part of her could accept that some of that stemmed from their strange desire to have others see their own virility and stamina reflected in the stomping power of an enraged stallion but at the same time Bebhinn elected to presume it as a special brand of madness which was particular to such men.
Her own stock - at least as she viewed them as such - were much gentler on first seeming but she selected those who would stand and hold when the rest of the herd would bolt. Choosing intelligent and that greatness of heart that meant they would continue to push on mile after mile for their master or mistress. It didn't mean they could be handled by just anyone though...no far from it in fact. Bebhinn expected the people who brought her horses to have received some measure of training on the correct treatment of horses and if no one had done so before than she made it her business to deal with it before the rode away and destroyed all her hard work.
It had ensured that most assumed her rather blunt, rude and even on one occasion calling her out for some imagined slight of honour, the only reason it hadn't gone further was at that moment the horse had elected to boot him more or less clear across the field and only Bebhinn's skills had made sure the animal hadn't then trampled him for his trouble. She had in fairness warned him that the mare had tended to view her as her personal foal but clearly he had not understood what exactly that meant.
The memory still made her chuckle, even though she knew she probably shouldn't find it so funny but in any case she was not about to repeat it at the moment, no far from it. Right now, Bebhinn needed all her attention on the mare in labour, the same one who had so expertly dealt with that annoyance and who now needed her to assist her at this rather trying and difficult time in her own life.
