The following positions are held to advise the Crown and serve at the Crown's pleasure:
Note: No Duke may hold a Council position, but members of Ducal houses may do so, as may vassal houses.
Chancellor - This position assists the Crown with matters of State, planning progresses, assisting with petitions and land grants, and standing as the Crown's official representative to receive visiting foreign dignitaries.
Exchequer - The Kingdom treasurer, responsible for the levying and collection of taxes and tithes, disbursement of royal monies and managing the kingdom budget.
Field Marshal - Head of the King's military branches, responsible for the selection, training, assignment and deployment of all military. During times of war, the Field Marshal is the supreme commander, delegating as needed.
Master of Trade - This position manages and maintains the flow of trade throughout the Kingdom, supervises the ports, and determines fair trade measures, developing new methods and arenas for trade.
Master of Intelligence - Head of the Crown's intelligence service, managing information and taking on tasks that are not openly discussed in the protection of the Kingdom.
Chaplain - The crown's personal spiritual advisor, this position also sits as the Church's representative on the Council.
Master Scholar - Well versed in both the history and the politics of the Kingdom, this position serves the Crown directly as personal advisor, a neutral voice to keep the Council grounded and focused.
