Tris thoughtfully bit his lip, considering the suggestion. It would be good to learn, not that he wasn’t already sneaking everywhere as it was in his spare time, and not just in the spare, but his siblings didn’t need to know that yet. That is, unless they already guessed that’s what he’d been doing. Deciding to dismiss it for the time being, Tris gave a considering smile at said siblings. “Sometimes the best spy is the one on the open and in the position of import and not the one clinging to the shadows – or in touch with those that are. There’s plenty of dust in our castle’s passages, though, and entirely too many people.” Winking at the pair to show them he’d give it serious thought, in fact, was already thinking it through as he spoke. “There are a lot of possibilities to it, though, such as finding out who…” Trailing off, Tris glanced around, decided that the place was entirely too open for his liking and shut up, instead listening to the rest of his siblings’ words.
“That’s good to hear, brother, but I do wonder if we’d chance for a run-in with the Lady herself? I admit I’m curious and there weren’t too many chances for one yet.” At least none that he remembered, and he was rather curious to see how the lady in question would handle the interaction between herself and him and Emma, at least, though he wondered whether Mariana would be amenable to such a meeting as well. His eldest sister had crossed his path once or twice, so he was more than aware of her presence in Triadon, but the family had yet to meet, and there were still many questions running unanswered. “And what are Father’s thoughts on the matter?” If he had any left. Biting back those words with visible effort, Tris cocked his head to the side, wondering if a family meeting wasn’t overdue, and it was certainly doable, with all the living family members in one place now.
