Characters Wanted:
Note - these characters are not the only options. If you see a House that interests you, or does not have a character listed, please speak with one of the staff. We will be happy to help you draft a character and geneology to fit that House and your idea.
Characters most needed are in blue.
Lancaster:
Gerald Lancaster - The son of Princess Fiona Carlisle and Lord Martin Lancaster, he is torn between his Carlisle cousins and wanting to be his own man. Somewhat distant from his mother, known as the Iron Princess, he is protective of his sister Serah and closer to his cousin Riordan, hoping to earn a place in his own right on the Council, preferably as Master of Laws.
PB Suggestion - Gil McKinney, Chris Evans
Theodore Lancaster - The eldest son and heir to Spencer Lancaster, Duke of Indigane, he is very much a chip off the old block. Raised to be the consummate gentleman and courtier, he is eloquent, skilled, intelligent and charming, a favourite with the ladies. He knows he is wealthy, powerful, connected... and of the younger generation in Court, he is one of the leaders. Called Theo, he shares his sister's ambition to lead and influence the future of Demeria.
PB Suggestion - Torrance Coombs, Callum Blue
Christine Lancaster - Younger sister to Belinda, and the second oldest of four, she is a skilled musician, able to play nearly anything she puts her hands to, whether it is lute, gittern, viol, tambour, drum or flute. Accompanying her older sister to Court, she is forever striving to keep Belinda out of trouble and on the correct path, a far from easy task, but she refuses to let her sister's ambition blind her to consequences.
PB Suggestion: Jenessa Grant
de Vere:
Gregor de Vere - the oldest son of the late Anton de Vere and Annemarie Kendall, he was not named the late Duke's heir, instead passed over for his elder sister Carissa. Married off young to a sickly woman, he is scheming and resentful of what his life has become. Denied the duchy, denied the woman he wanted, he has revenge on his mind, and the first person in the crosshairs is Carissa. Unfortunately, he also has to contend with their equally scheming uncle Rupert, the Master of Intelligence, and his protegee Marisa. Gregor is nothing if not determined, his eye firmly on the prize - the Duchy of Shalefort.
PB Suggestions - Chris Pine, Ian Somerhalder
Walter de Vere - the second son of Anton and Annemarie de Vere, he shares his brother's astonishment at their father's choice of Carissa. Unlike Gregor, he is undecided as to which is the better choice, preferring to wait, watch and lay his own plans no matter how things turn out. Unmarried, he knows a wise choice of bride will bring him his own glory... but whom that will be remains a mystery. A shrewd and cunning man, he is one who plays the long game, a man of even temper and deliberation.
PB Suggestions - Heath Ledger, Charlie Cox
Halton:
Benjamin Halton - The second son and current heir of the Baron of Haltire, Benjamin is every bit the archer his brother is... only better. He also possesses the charm that his elder brother lacks, comfortable in the company of others, good wine and a well-roasted joint of meat. An intrepid rider, he intends to join his brother in Triadon to try his hand at joining the King's Guard, or better, to become Champion of Demeria.
PB Suggestions: Max Irons, Rupert Young
Robert Halton/Robin Halton - The Twins, as they're often referred to by the Halton family, are identical, but as different as night and day despite their mirrored faces. Handsome, intelligent and scholarly, they are skilled in land management, currently serving their absent brother as Stewards of Haltire. However, they both know that one or both may be called away to join the retinue of another lord, especially their liege lord. Robert is the prankster, Robin the voice of reason, but both are fiercely proud of their border upbringing and their respective tenacity.
PB Suggestions: William Moseley, Simon Ginty
Doriane Halton - Called Dori by her friends and family, she is an imaginative young lady, one who dreams of the glitter and glamor of the Court. She, like her siblings, is a capable archer, but she has ambitions towards joining one of the retinues of a high-ranking lady, perhaps one of the Duchesses, the Princess Royal, or the future queen. In her own mind, she is a princess... and wishes to live like one.
PB Suggestions: Freya Mavor, Eleanor Tomlinson
Jardinier:
Violet Jardinier - The sister to the Duke of Fairfield, she has the ultimate in green thumbs and a love of flowers. At Court, she is known as the Lady of Flowers, and hailed for her remarkable skill in crafting perfumes. Though she has no love for politics, she knows there is a need to represent the Jardinier name at Court, and to support her brother and sister in law. Unwed, she harbours a dream of love for her wedding... if such a thing can be found.
PB Suggestions: Sarah Bolger, Rebekah Wainwright
Florian Jardinier - The second born and brother to the Duke of Fairfield, he is Hadrian's utter opposite. Where Hadrian is ill at ease in a crowd, Florian is gregarious, smooth and socially skilled. He has served as his brother's representative at Court until recently, but intends to carve out a niche for himself that belongs to him along. A handsome man, he makes friends easily and is popular with the men and the women alike.
PB Suggestions: Torrance Coombs, Hugh Dancy
Eloise Jardinier - The oldest daughter of Rene and Louise Jardinier, cousin to the current Duke. Her personality is open and waiting to be crafted for whomever takes her.
PB Suggestions: Caitlin Stasey, Anita Briem
Kendall:
Richard Kendall - The only son of Arthur Kendall and his heir, he is a quiet and studious young man who has come to Triadon to sow some oats at Court while studying at the university. Protective of his younger sisters, he is occasionally at odds with his elder sister Natalie, who is as flamboyant as Richard is discreet.
PB Suggestions: Josh Duhamel, Eddie Redmayne
Samantha Kendall - The middle child of the Kendalls, she has been blessed with a gift that defies mere physical beauty and brings a light that outshines her siblings. Samantha has been graced with the voice of an angel, sweet, pure and clear that rings like a bell. Hoping to be invited to court where her talent could bring her the fame and fortune she desires, she knows she can leave her social butterfly sister crawling in her wake. Jealousy is a powerful motivator.
PB Suggestions: Faye Marsay, Clemence Poesy
Peveril:
Dorothea Peveril - Older sister to the current lord, she is fully aware of his plans and devious ways. Cut from the same cloth as Richard, she has no qualms in lending her hands to the fulfillment of that plot and agenda. The Peverils have never forgotten that they were passed over in favour of the de Vere, and they have allowed the dish of revenge to cool considerably over the centuries. An intelligent, independent and scheming woman, she will use any skill, any wile, any advantage at her disposal.
PB Suggestion: Famke Janssen, Rachel Weisz
Rose:
Tomas Rose - The heir of Honeyvine and the son of Samantha and Esteban represents the perfect fusion of Rose practicality and Lintenese sentimentality. Tomas knows that Honeyvine will always be a bone of contention between Demeria and Linten, but like his mother, he refuses to let the duchy return to the fold of their former masters. Unlike his mother, however, he does not feel right in remaining in seclusion among the many rows of grapevines. It is time for the Rose name to be heard again within the Court of Demeria. Using his father’s uncanny sense of negotiation and fiery charm, Tomas hopes to improve his family’s influence in the Court. Whether that means putting family members on the council or in other positions of power remains to be seen.
PB Suggestion: Douglas Booth, Craig Horner
Roberto Rose - The second son of Samatha Rose and her Lintenese husband, he is young but he is ambitious to make his own mark. His brother is to be Duke, but there are plenty of posts at Court that could use the Rose name and the Rose mind. Well schooled in politics and jurisprudence, he has his eye on the Master of Laws position, intending to make it his own after the appropriate apprenticeship under the current Master of Laws.
PB Suggestion: Emile Hirsch
Maria Rose - the only daughter of the current Duchess, she is a deeply religious girl but knows she will not be permitted to join the Order as she will be needed to marry. A startlingly beautiful girl, she is modest, a little shy and close to her mother, bearing a marked resemblance to Samantha as her brothers do not.
PB Suggestion: Molly Quinn, Bonnie Wright
Easton:
Caleb Easton - The second born, he is an impeccable fighter, already knighted and a member of the King's Guard. Long-time friends with Sir Darton de Lac, with whom he trained, he is the primary guard on the King and is determined to unearth the traitor lurking in their midst. Deadly with a sword, he is no less dangerous with other weapons, proud of his native skills.
PB Suggestion: Rupert Young, Tom Hardy
Susannah Easton - The eldest daughter of the House, Susannah is the despair of her father and eldest brother. No man, in her mind, is worthy of her, though she is willing enough to serve an exalted lady of the Court. Banished to Eastleigh after her latest refusal to wed, she has written to her brother Nathan in the hopes that she will be permitted to return to Court in service to the future Queen.
PB Suggestion: Caitlin Stasey, Eleanor Tomlinson
Nicholas Easton - The third born, Nick (as he is known to his family) traveled to Triadon with his brother to join the Crown Prince's household as Secretary. Fluent in several languages, he is a shrewd, intelligent and humble man who is glad for the opportunity granted him, pleased to be out of Eastleigh as he is not in line to inherit and despises idleness. Though he keeps mostly to himself, he is close to his brothers and tremendously proud of his name.
PB Suggestion: Ashley Charles
Rebecca Easton - The youngest daughter of the Easton family, she is a bright, eager and blithe young woman, graced with golden hair and a ready smile. Though she is technically too young to join the Court, she will be joining her family in Triadon and placed in the care of a great Court lady to finish preparing her for life as a courtier and a potential bride.
PB Suggestion: Jenessa Grant
